Letter: Thobaben for 18th District

By Elizabeth Stehle Campbell, Vancouver

We need a change in our Legislature. Rep. Brandon Vick, R-Felida, has voted “no” on prohibiting landlords from discriminating based on source of income, on prohibiting conversion therapy on minors, on giving immunity to health-care providers following end-of-life directives, on banning bump stocks, on automatic voter registration.

If these votes don’t align with your views, vote for Chris Thobaben to represent you in the 18th Legislative District. Thobaben, a major in the Marine Corps Reserve and a small-business owner, takes positions better in line with our community. He deserves your vote.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
