Four Boy Scouts from the Columbia River District passed their Eagle Scout Board of Review in February and advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout. Find out more at www.cpcbsa.org/columbiariver

Troop 14

Preston Robert Crawford, a senior at Vancouver iTech Preparatory, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in producing a flag retirement documentary, with 88 volunteer hours. Crawford, 18, is the son of Wade and Peggi Crawford.

Troop 462

Andrew Skyler York, a sophomore at Union High School, Camas, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in a book drive for Share House, with 40 volunteer hours. York, 15, is the son of Phil and Karen York.

Troop 525

David Gordon Dapp-Whisner, a senior at Columbia River High School, Vancouver, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in building a playground stage for the Vancouver First United Methodist Church, with 102 volunteer hours. Dapp-Whisner, 18, is the son of Gordon and Marth Dapp-Whisner.

Troop 694

Carsten Lake Cordon, a senior at Camas High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in providing diapers, wipes and feminine products for the TransitionalYouth program Vida’s Ark, which helps homeless girls and women ages 14 to 25 and their children, with 102 volunteer hours. Cordon, 18, is the son of Jeff and Laurie Cordon.
