Letter: Relationship is undermined

By James Harmon, Vancouver
Published: August 1, 2019, 6:00am

My wife and I have been together for a long time, and an individual has begun undermining our relationship. With his personal attacks, this individual has alienated all our prior friends to the point that we cannot rely on them for assistance in the future. We were told some time ago not to worry about our financial situation and things would be better in the future. Since being told this, our financial condition had deteriorated to the point it may be impossible to ever recover.

Finally, our neighborhood, water and outdoor conditions have been allowed to deteriorate due to the actions of this person and his associates.

The only action I can envision is that the individual wants us to divorce each other, move from our house and face the future on our own without any financial stability or support.

Now if all this sounds familiar, I should note; our house is my country and my wife and I are the people occupying it. I will let the reader fill in the blank on who this individual and his associates are. The pending big question is, who is he going the sell our house to? Or maybe it has already been sold.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
