Man convicted of sexually abusing woman at knifepoint

HILLSBORO, Ore. — A man has been convicted on several charges related to the sexual assault of a woman at knifepoint in her Hillsboro apartment.

The Washington County District Attorney’s Office says a jury on Friday found 21-year-old Gabriel Moscote-Saavedra guilty of attempted rape, burglary and three counts of first-degree sex abuse.
