Letter: Herrera Beutler doesn’t listen

Herrera Beutler is just another Kool-Aid drinking member of Trump’s cult. It was expected that she would toe her party’s line and continue to repeat “that neither the president nor anyone else with his campaign conspired with Russia to influence the outcome.” Anyone with half a brain who read the Mueller Report could see that Trump and his cronies tried their best, by welcoming any illegal help they could get from Russia.

Herrera Beutler conveniently left out any comment on the more than 10 instances of obstruction of justice that Mueller’s team found that Trump had committed, for which he would have been charged and convicted, except for the Justice Department’s policy of not indicting a sitting president.

I just received an email from her announcing another of her telephone town halls. I will attend a real town hall held by Carolyn Long. It is time that Herrera Beutler is replaced by someone who will really listen to and fight for residents of Southwest Washington’s 3rd Congressional District.
