Letter: Choose Pond for city council

By Adam Walters, Vancouver
Published: August 4, 2019, 6:00am

Here is why I am voting for Mike Pond for Vancouver City Council, Position 6.

As a 28-year-old, I feel extremely underrepresented. I never see us speaking on our behalf on the major TV news networks or represented in business matters despite being the generation who actually knows how to use the internet. I hardly see us represented in policy matters (Love you, Mayor Pete).

Millennials are the largest voting bloc and the least represented. This needs to change. Love or hate our generation, we are the future and that’s too bad for all the haters.

Vote Pond!
