WENATCHEE — Three mobile homes were destroyed in a mudslide after a storm in Wenatchee.

KOMO reports the force of the water sent a massive amount of rock and mud down the hillside Saturday night and into a development of single-wide mobile homes, nearly all the way up to the roof lines.

Residents, including children, were rescued from one home and were uninjured.

Sergeant Kent Sisson with the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office says this was one of the stronger rain events they’ve had in quite some time.
