Letter: Trump is target of name-calling

By Donald A. Farnsworth, Vancouver

I am finding the haters of President Donald Trump are in full deployment on the letters to the editor page, he being the direct recipient of many hateful words.

Seems like he is another Hitler, then he is a fascist, then he is a communist, then he is a Nazi, then he is a — you fill in the words. When Trump replies to the left’s name-calling, somehow it is out of bounds for him to do such a thing.

From everything I have seen it looks like the Russian collusion is now on the back burner and the white supremacist is the new cry of the left. Name-calling is at its finest now, and the only thing that will make things worse is Trump being president again. Wow, will this ever turn the progressive left in an all-out revenge mode? If the progressives get any more left and get control of this government, these good old United States will come closer and closer to becoming a communist-type government with all the giveaways, free this and that.

It will be a tough fight to stay standing in the coming years.
