Celebration of 19th Amendment planned

The Clark County Democratic Women are hosting a celebration to honor the passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

The event will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Esther Short Park in Vancouver. Speakers will include state Reps. Monica Stonier and Sharon Wylie, Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle and candidate for Washington’s 3rd Congressional District Carolyn Long, among others.
