The Southwest Washington Free Clinic announced $8,500 in grant funding Tuesday.

The clinic, which provides free health care to those who can’t otherwise obtain it, received a $7,500 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation. The clinic also received a $1,000 grant from OnPoint Community Credit Union.

Grant funds will be used to help pay for urgent medical care services for low-income and uninsured people in Clark County, according to a clinic press release. The clinic provides medical, dental, vision and specialty care services from more than 500 volunteer professionals. Learn more about the clinic at freeclinics.org.
