Boys basketball: Castle Rock 49, Hoquiam 34

Jonny Boissonault and Landon Gardner each scored 16 points as the Rockets opened the season with a road win.

Boissonault added seven rebounds and three blocks.

Castle Rock outscored Hoquiam 14-6 in the third quarter to open a 37-22 lead. The Rockets were aggressive on offense and drew fouls, resulting in 30 trips to the free throw line.
