Girls basketball: Mark Morris 48, Battle Ground 20

Emma Fisher made her season debut with 11 points and eight rebounds to lead the Monarchs.

Brookly Schlect set the defensive tone with six steals. Lily Koski Haase added 10 points, and Katie Troy had eight points and four assists.

Megan Geiger led Battle Ground with eight points.
