R.A. LONG 51, CASTLE ROCK 33 — The Lumberjills raced to a 37-12 halftime lead on their way to the non-league road victory. Miranda Lomax scored 20 points and Jayla Clark added 10 for R.A. Long.

“This is one of those games that makes practice easier the next couple days,” RAL coach Jan Karnoski said.

Brooke Wirkkala paced the Rockets with 14 points. She was 9 of 9 from the free-throw line.

we played extremely well first half. gangbusters. press worked. making some really good passes. … substantial lead. second half working on defense,, no pressing. got them in there. get some experience. one of those games makes practice easier the next couple days. still have work ot do.
