I would like to thank Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, for parroting the Republican talking points that the articles of impeachment are based on “heresay testimony from secondhand sources.” I would like to remind her of Gordon Sondlund’s (Trump’s ambassador to the EU) testimony that there unequivocally was a “quid pro quo,” or as I like to call it, extortion! Then, “The Don” instructed White House staff to not cooperate. Abuse of power for personal gain and obstruction of Congress. What does she not see — the facts? Time to elect someone who recognizes facts, not talking points.
