Columnist Eugene Robinson’s heart-breaking story about 16-year-old Carlos Gregorio Hernandez Vasquez falling through the cracks of our judicial system is beyond tragic (“Teen migrant’s death a crime,” Dec. 13). For a very ill boy to be put into a cold cell and then ignored for the next 12 to 15 hours only to die alone on a cement floor is unforgivable. President Trump should be held accountable for his policies that allow such cruelty in the United States of America.
