The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information in a case involving a now-deceased male who was found along the Washougal River.

According to a press release, deputies were dispatched Saturday morning to assist in the report of an individual who had been found along the bank of the Washougal River at milepost 7. The press release states that the individual — who was found to be a male — was discovered unclothed, without any identification and was later pronounced dead by medical personnel.

Clark County’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating and is not releasing any further details at this time to preserve the investigation, according to the press release. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clark County Major Crimes Unit at 360-397-2120.
