The man who was found naked and without identification Saturday along the Washougal River has been identified as John Mullenmeister of Minnesota, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Mullenmeister, 43, was found along the riverbank near Milepost 7. He was alive but in medical distress, and later died after being taken to an area hospital, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

An autopsy revealed no signs of homicidal violence, and toxicology results are pending. The death does not appear to be criminal in nature, the news release states.
