Letter: Trump wants what we all want

You might think we are fools because you feel Trump is on a self-destruct course, but beyond Washington, Trump has had his successes. Yes, he’s an egomaniac; but I don’t care.

The country is a mess because most of our politicians do not really care about the average American; all they have is a hate for Trump, whether he is right or wrong it doesn’t matter. The Republican and Democratic parties are both two-faced and afraid to enforce our laws. Trump is crude and often not as professional as he could be, yes, he changes his position on things two or three times and he’s been married three times.

Bad hair or not, I think he wants what all Americans want — a clean, safe place to raise a family, a good job and an opportunity to truly live the American Dream. What I am having a hard time understanding is why we let career politicians control our country when all they do is get richer and crave more power. They need to be held accountable for their actions.

God bless this great nation. I have been around this world and there’s no place better than the good old USA.
