RIDGEFIELD — The Rotary Club of Three Creeks installed the club’s first Rotary Book Nook in an effort to promote literacy on the west side of north Clark County. The Rotary worked with Friends of the Ridgefield Library to install the nook at Lark Park, Lark Drive and Heron Drive. Nelson Holmberg, Rotary president, worked with Tevis Laspa of the Friends group to install the book nook. Club members purchased books, and speakers at Rotary meetings will add inspirational messages to the books, which will be placed in the small neighborhood libraries.
