WASHOUGAL — Nineteen homes would be built on a nearly 6-acre lot under a plan submitted recently to Washougal city officials.

Waverly Homes LLC of Vancouver submitted the building application for the project called Magnolia, at 920 W. McKever Lane, on the city’s northwest corner. Construction would start in July and would take place in one phase.

Lot sizes would range from 6,019 square feet to 12,518 square feet, according to the application. House sizes would range from 2,750 square feet to 4,000 square feet, each with an attached two- or three-car garage.

The development would include a 23,570-square-foot open space on the southeast corner and a 25,340-square-foot open space on the southwest corner.

A public hearing on the project has been set for 1 p.m. April 23, in Washougal City Hall.
