Girls basketball: Camas 61, Grants Pass (Ore.) 57

Whenever the Papermakers needed a big shot, Haley Hanson provided it on Thursday night in Grants Pass, Ore.

Hanson hit eight 3-pointers, including the one that forced overtime as Camas picked up a non-league road win.

Grants Pass led 49-46 with 10 seconds left when Hanson buried a 3-pointer that forced overtime.

The Cavers pushed out to a five-point lead in overtime, but Camas cut the deficit to one on another Hanson 3-pointer.

Katelynn Forner gave the Papermakers the lead with a steal and lay-up with 40 seconds left. Hanson sealed the win with her eighth 3-pointer, finishing with a game-high 26 points.

Jalena Carlisle added 16 points and 11 rebounds for Camas (8-5).
