‘Turbulent Times’ is theme of Economic Forecast Breakfast

A panel of financial authorities is slated to participate Jan. 17 in this year’s Economic Forecast Breakfast, presented by Riverview Community Bank and The Columbian.

Doors open at 6:30 a.m. and talks are set to start at 7 a.m. at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St.

The theme is “Turbulent Times Ahead? Navigating calm waters or rough seas.”

The keynote presenter will be Jason DeSena Trennert, chairman and CEO of Strategas Securities LLC. He will be joined by moderator Cara Samples, chief financial officer of Fulcrum Wealth Management Group; Rukaiyah Adams, chief investment officer at Meyer Memorial Trust; Scott Keeney, CEO and co-founder of nLIGHT; David Nierenberg, founder and president of Nierenberg Investment Co. of Camas; and Scott Bailey, regional economist for the Washington Employment Security Department.

Tickets are $55 and include a sit-down breakfast. Advance registration is required and available online at Columbian.com/EconomicForecast. Tickets are not available at the door. Individual seats and tables of 10 are available. The first 50 students to register are free, sponsored by engineering firm BergerABAM Co.
