Letter: Evangelicals miss the point

Does anyone care to join me in guessing in how many fundamentalist/evangelical pulpits this weekend the subject of the sermon was the Trump administration’s despicable treatment of migrant babies and children at our southern border? My bet is that it was somewhere between zero and 10 percent, despite what Jesus had to say on the subject. But on abortion, which Jesus said nothing about, I’ll bet it was lively.
