Campaign trail: Vancouver City Council

Aguilera hosting phone bank, doorbell events: Adam Aguilera, a candidate seeking Vancouver City Council Position 6, is holding a phone banking event from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday.

Volunteers will meet at the Riverside office of the Washington Education Association, at 5516 N.E. 107th Ave., Suite 200 in Vancouver, and call voters.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Saturday until Aug. 3, Aguilera is also hosting “doorbelling” events. Volunteers should plan to meet at the Clark County Democrats office at 10621 N.E. Coxley Drive, Suite 101, in Vancouver and plan on two canvassing shifts, one from noon to 2 p.m. and another from 2 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

Pond holding meet-and-greet: Mike Pond, a candidate running for Vancouver City Council Position 6, is holding a meet-and-greet event in east Vancouver.

The event will be hosted by Surinder Sahota and Kala Sagar at Chutneys Fine Indian Cusine, at 3000 S.E. 164th Ave. Suite 100. It will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Stober hosting pizza party: Vancouver City Councilor Ty Stober is hosting a meet and greet over pizza as part of his re-election campaign.

Hosted at Juliano’s Pizzeria, 15606 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., in Vancouver, the event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
