Vancouver students compete in Battle of the Books

Lake Shore — Vancouver Public Schools hosted its seventh annual citywide Battle of the Books in June at Eisenhower Elementary School. The home team of students from Eisenhower Elementary School came in first, followed by Hough Elementary School and Sacajawea Elementary School. Other students competed from Felida, Ogden, Lincoln, Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, Minnehaha and Truman elementary schools. In the event, students buzz in to answer questions about books from different genres.
