Construction is underway at the new joint George C. Marshall Elementary and McLoughlin Middle School campus at 5802 MacArthur Blvd., Vancouver.
The two schools are part of Vancouver Public Schools’ $458 million bond campaign, which will build three new schools; replace, remodel or enlarge several campuses; and improve campuses throughout the district.
The Marshall-McLoughlin complex is slated to open in the fall of 2020. The buildings will be connected and share a Family-Community Resource Center and media center, but will have separate entrances and parking areas.
According to the latest report card from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, 394 students attend Marshall, and 995 attend McLoughlin.
