Letter: Stop America’s adversaries

By Bruce R. Randall, Vancouver

From before the birth of our nation, adversaries, both foreign and native-born, have persistently conspired against us. Should a comprehensive list of constitutional foes be compiled today, it would reveal a “Who’s Who” of American and international notables bent on fundamentally changing our representative form of government.

Our collective problems seem nearly insurmountable. We number over 300 million people and millions more reside here illegally. Our country is reeling from a divisive war between the political parties and legislative obstruction at every turn. Democratic Party policy has been shrewdly hijacked by radical socialist activists and cowardly antifa thugs who run our streets with unrestrained fascist hatred and violence. America’s adversaries also include a presidential candidate, high-level bureaucrats, foreign entities and media mainstays who plotted to change the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

The future looks no less dismal, as taxpayer-funded public schools become increasingly left-wing indoctrination centers that reject rational thinking and traditional American values.

Citizen patriots, we must not sit by and watch our country be overrun by those with anti-American ideologies. Stand in support of law enforcement, write or call your members of Congress, involve yourself in your community and always vote. America’s adversaries must be stopped.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
