Raptors Recap: Ridgefield 2, Kelowna 0

The Raptors picked up the series sweep in British Columbia on Sunday with another solid pitching effort from Carter Benbrook, Wesley Harper and Cameron Repetti. The bats were cooled some as Kelowna pitching combined for 13 strikeouts.

KEY MOMENTS: Grayson Sterling had a run-scoring single in the fourth inning. Jonny Weaver’s base hit scored the second run in the sixth inning. Ridgefield got out of a no-out bases-loaded situation in the fifth inning with two strikeouts from Benbrook and a fly out.

KEY PLAYERS: Despite taking the loss, Kelowna pitcher Jonathan Clark had nine strikeouts and one walk in six innings. Ridgefield’s Steve Ramirez has a hit in all four games he’s played.

NEXT GAME: Ridgefield (4-2) at Portland (3-3), 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
