Scanner: Motorcyclist taken to hospital in critical condition

A motorcyclist was taken to a hospital in critical condition after a crash Sunday night west of the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Emergency personnel were dispatched at 9:39 p.m. to Northwest 179th Street and Northwest 28th Avenue. The crash appeared to involve a deer, and the motorcyclist was unconscious but breathing, according to the scanner.

The motorcyclist was placed on a backboard and taken to a hospital, according to the scanner.
