Letter: Trump steers straight ship

Last month I wrote in concerning the Ship of Fools (“Democrats display foolishness,” Our Readers’ Views, May 13). Well, they are still sailing. Nancy Pelosi the Captain; Chuck Schumer, First Mate; Jerry Nadler as Navigator; and Adam Schiff as Deck Hand. Continue to steer “left,” Nadler shouts out to the Captain, and the Ship of Fools continue to sail in circles.

Commodore Trump steers a straight course aboard his vessel called, “Make America Great Again.” In the ship’s wake are his many successful accomplishments that the main media’s hate for President Trump will not recognize, and hence not report and/or distort the facts. That includes this paper. I have kept records for one month and 80 percent of letters are anti-Trump and liberal comments.

I did not even include Leonard Pitts, Eugene Robinson, Dana Milbank — all Trump haters in my count. Oh, I almost forgot, this paper’s own Greg Jayne is one of them. Real political balance there.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
