CORVALLIS 2, RIDGEFIELD 0

Six Corvallis pitchers combined on a two-hit shutout as the Raptors’ offensive woes continued. Ridgefield was swept in the three-game series, scoring a total of four runs.

KEY MOMENTS: After Michael Curialle’s one-out double, Jake Holcroft singled him home for the game’s first run in the sixth inning. Holcroft later scored on a groundout to make it 2-0. Those were the Knights’ only two hits in the game.

KEY PLAYERS: Justin Boyd had a double in four at-bats, and Dusty Garcia was 1 for 4 for the Raptors. Marc Lidd threw two hitless innings of relief.

NEXT GAME: Walla Walla (13-5) at Ridgefield (10-8), 6:35 p.m. Friday. (Radio FM 99.9)

NOTE: Because of environmental issues, the Raptors will not host a scheduled fireworks show after Saturday’s game against Walla Walla.
