Lincoln — The Lincoln Neighborhood Association gave a grant to Discovery Middle School in February to help the school purchase “wiggle seats” for students. The grant was for $500. Union High School recently brought in a variety of seating options for students, as research shows can help students stay on task. The seating options also have helped students feel more relaxed and give them more ownership over their learning. Woodland Public Schools has brought flexible seating options to some classes in recent years, as well.
