Clark County and the city of Vancouver are conducting a study to learn about the barriers people face when trying to rent or purchase housing.

“The study will focus on whether people in Vancouver and Clark County are unjustly being denied housing based on race, ethnicity, family status, disability status or a number of other factors,” the city said in a news release Thursday.

The survey is available online in English, Spanish and Russian. To request the survey in another format or language, contact Peggy Sheehan, Vancouver’s Community Development program manager, at 360-487-7952, TTY: 360-487-8602, WA Relay: 711, or peggy.sheehan@cityofvancouver.us.

Information about fair housing can be found online at www.cityofvancouver.us/ced/page/fair-housing or www.clark.wa.gov/community-services/fair-housing.
