Letter: Kudos to oil terminal opponent

By Nancy Schultz, Vancouver
Published: May 2, 2019, 6:00am

Congratulations to our friend and neighbor Linda Garcia! No one who worked against the oil terminal was more committed during personal adversity than Linda in her efforts to save her Fruit Valley neighborhood and as a result, our beautiful city.

Linda testified and spoke at hearings throughout the state indefatigably. I know for certain that she testified while in pain.

She continues to be a valuable asset to our community and deserves all the recognition she’s finally getting.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
