The Vancouver Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oregon are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robber who hit a Heritage Bank branch twice within the last two months.

A man entered the bank at 16400 S.E. 18th St., on March 14 and displayed a knife. Based on surveillance video and witnesses, the same man is believed to have robbed the bank again April 24, according to a Crime Stoppers of Oregon press release.

In both robberies, the man wore a ski mask over his face, blue jeans, a black zip-up jacket and a beanie. He is described as being between 35 to 45 years old, white with black and gray hair, and unshaven, the press release states.

Detectives with the Vancouver Major Crimes Unit are investigating. Anyone with information about the robberies or who can identify the robber should contact Crime Stoppers of Oregon at 503-823-4357.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards of up to $2,500 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
