Clark County Open Studios Tour seeks 50 Clark County artists to open their studios to the public on Nov. 2 and 3. The tour is open to all visual artists and artisans working in all media. Aurora Gallery seeks submissions for a teabag art show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11. Artwork should incorporate at least one teabag and be gallery ready — that is, properly framed and displayed. Artists can submit multiple pieces in all mediums. The deadline to submit art is 5:30 p.m. May 10. There is no cost to submit art. Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks brass, woodwind and percussion players, active and retired. All abilities welcome; no audition required. The volunteer community band, along with its polka band, Dixieland Jazz Band and chamber ensembles, performs regularly around the area. Vancouver Pops Orchestra seeks musicians who play orchestral instruments. The ensemble plays 20 to 25 45-minute assemblies each year in local grade schools. Rehearsals are 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays.
