WASHOUGAL — Students and their grandparents or other special adults were able to spend a little extra time together through the school’s first “Hathaway Grand Event.” Coordinated by the Hathaway Boosters, more than 75 people gathered to enjoy breakfast, craft projects, prizes, read books, snap photos in a photo booth and peruse the Hathaway Booster Book Fair. “There are many grand people and family members in our students’ lives,” said Sarika Mosley, Hathaway Elementary principal. “And this event is a wonderful way to create an opportunity for them to connect with each other and the school.”
