Letter: Think forward on traffic

So nice to know both Oregon and Washington are living in the 1950s!

During my recent travels to Australia, I was impressed with the use of modern technology to move traffic. A tube under the river solves the traffic issue, light rail concerns and the aging Interstate 5 Bridge.

Think about a tube from Camas to Troutdale and a tube from Kalama to Rainier. Wise up; think forward instead of backward.
