EUGENE, Ore. — The man awaiting trial for the alleged attempted murder of three Springfield police officers in 2017 has had his release from jail revoked for a second time, forfeiting another $148,000.

Last month, Iosif Fomich Ivanov, 38, of Woodburn,Ore. was found to have frequented an establishment where the main source of revenue is alcohol, GameTime Sportsbar and Grill, a violation of Ivanov’s release agreement. His security was revoked April 15 and Ivanov was rearrested Friday. He is currently an inmate of the Lane County Jail. It is unknown if Ivanov frequented the bar’s location in Albany or Lebanon.

This isn’t the first time Ivanov’s release has been revoked. In October, Ivanov cut off his ankle monitor while out on $1.4 million bail, months after a judge voiced concerns about Ivanov’s release because of a history of eluding police. Ten percent of Ivanov’s bail — $148,000 — that had been posted was forfeited as a result and Ivanov was rearrested the following day.

Another $148,000 was posted as bail again in November, but that has now been forfeited, as well.

Ivanov’s trial for 21 charges is scheduled to begin in July.

He is charged with three counts of attempted murder, as well as additional charges of first-degree burglary, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, unauthorized use of a vehicle, attempting to elude police, and assaulting a law enforcement animal.
