WENATCHEE — A young woman from Utah was killed when her car drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with two other vehicles near Wenatchee.

KOMO-TV reports the crash happened on State Route 97A at about 1:55 a.m. Sunday.

The Washington State Patrol says the driver of one vehicle, 20-year-old Rachel Odima, of Clearfield, Utah, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation found that Odima was driving south when she drifted into the oncoming lane and crashed into two other vehicles – a 2000 Chevy pickup with two occupants and a Toyota 4runner with four occupants.

The Corolla then flipped over and landed in the ditch.

A 22-year-old Entiat woman who was a passenger in the Toyota 4runner sustained an injury but she declined treatment at the scene.
