Letter: Why does Trump hide tax returns?

By Robert Lieberman, Vancouver
Published: May 31, 2019, 6:00am

So, “The Dumpster” continues to stonewall Congress and the American people on releasing his federal income tax returns. Some of his comments and actions cause huge ups and downs in stock markets. Is he illegally not releasing tax returns to cover up that he and his family are selling stocks just before he causes markets to go down, and then buying stocks just before he causes markets to go up? This would be the ultimate market manipulation, and much worse than ordinary insider-trading for which many have gone to jail.
