Letter: Support Burkman for port

By Terry Ogle and Anne McEnerny-Ogle, Vancouver
Published: October 2, 2019, 6:00am

Jack Burkman will make a great port commissioner. The community has benefited from his experience on the Vancouver City Council, Clark College Board of Trustees, and numerous boards and commissions.

As a member of the council, Jack demonstrated his leadership on a variety of community issues.  He understands the importance of jobs to the region without sacrificing the environment. In all his leadership roles, Jack has been known for his ability to collaborate and work in partnership with his colleagues, and he will bring this expertise to the port. We need Jack Burkman as a port commissioner.
