Vancouver police: Missing man found safe in Portland

Update, Thursday, Oct. 10: Police say Joseph King was found safe in Portland.

Original story: Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 49-year-old man who has medical conditions and is reportedly not familiar with Vancouver.

Joseph King was last seen walking away from the Taco Bell at 8300 Vancouver Plaza Drive around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to a Vancouver Police Department news release.

King has medical conditions that require medication and additional care.

Police described King as a black man, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 150 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray jacket, red T-shirt, jeans and black shoes with no socks.

Anyone with information on King’s whereabouts should call 911.
