Mount St. Helens Institute receives Nike grant

AMBOY — A program by the Mount St. Helens Institute recently received a grant from Nike. The $5,000 grant was awarded through the Beaverton, Ore.-based company’s Community Impact Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation and will benefit the institute’s Volcano Outdoor School for All, which provides day and night excursions around the mountain for low-income and underrepresented youth.
