Bagley Downs — The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington received a $1,000 grant from OnPoint Community Credit Union, which will be used to help fund urgent medical care services for low-income and uninsured people in Clark County. The Free Clinic offers medical, dental, vision and specialty care services from more than 500 volunteer professionals, with funding coming from the local community. “The Free Clinic’s urgent medical services keep people healthy before they develop more serious illnesses and need expensive emergency room care,” Ann Wheelock, Free Clinic executive director, said in a release.
