Julian Sheldon three four three touchdowns, ran in a fourthf or the Lumberjacks. Sheldon completed 13 of 14 passes for 160 yards and ran for 79.

Although the Lumberjacks were hampered by penalties for nearly 60 yards and three fumbles, they had plenty of scoring including an 85-yard kickoff return for score by Jacob Johnson-Valencia to start the second half.

Fort Vancouver warmed up and got on the board twice in the fourth quarter. Mason Mongold, who was the offensive workhorse, broke loose for a 63-yard touchdown run to start the final period. Quarterback Trevor Narvasa brought another score at the close of the game with a 3-yard keeper.

Each team was looking to break losing streaks from last season. RA Long will face a tough opponent with Kelso next week. Fort Vancouver, playing an independent schedule, will travel to Winlock.
