Henrietta Lacks graduate earns scholarship through Burgerville

North Garrison Heights — Henrietta Lacks Health and Bioscience High School graduate Asante Johnson was one of four local students to earn a 2019 Ignite Your Future Scholarship. The program was established in 2007 by Burgerville. Johnson has worked at the Orchard’s Burgerville since May 2017 and will attend Clark College in the fall to study nursing. He then plans on transferring to the University of Washington. While in high school, Johnson volunteered through the National Honor Society and the NAACP.
