A motorcycle driver died after a head-on crash involving a car near Northeast 58th Street and Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard Saturday evening in Vancouver.

Reports of the crash came in at 6:37 p.m. Saturday, and the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead when first responders arrived.

All lanes were blocked near state Highway 500 and Northeast 65th Street, with cars being turned around at Northeast 182nd Avenue.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn said shortly after 7:30 p.m. he anticipated the road could be blocked off for a “couple of hours.”
