PORTLAND — Officials have identified a man and a woman as suspects in a Hillsboro officer-involved shooting Saturday night in which police shot and injured the male suspect.

The Oregonian/OregonLive reports Elliot Carr and Nicola Kostov were arrested Saturday after police responded to a suspicious circumstances call at a Hillsboro hotel.

Hillsboro Police Sgt. Leland Gilbert says a police officer fired at Carr, wounding him. He says Carr had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

He says the officer is now on administrative leave.

The district attorney’s office says Carr was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, unauthorized use of a vehicle and identity theft.

Kostov, who is also known as Peacelynn Butterfly Perilloux, was charged with burglary, unauthorized use of a vehicle and identity theft.

It wasn’t known if they have attorneys.
