Southwest Washington Watercolor Society Fall Exhibition, Sept. 30 through Oct. 26. The exhibition will showcase more than 100 watercolor and water media artworks from SWWS juried and associate members. There will be an Artist Awards and Reception at 6 p.m. Oct. 3. Nick Carulli, Sept. 28. The public is invited to view an exhibit of Nick Carulli’s photography at Visual Expressions Gallery, 2115 S.E. 192nd Ave., Suite 110, Camas, from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 28. “Show Your Colors!” through Sept. 28, is a group show featuring the oil paintings of Northwest Oil Painters Guild members. “Culture Smash,” through Sept. 28, is a dual exhibit featuring the art of Jacob Herring and Chris Stevens. Herring is a Portland-based artist focused on 1980s pop-culture cartoon surrealism. “Oil & Water,” through Oct. 26. This solo exhibit showcases Rangner’s work as he interprets the same landscape in two mediums, with paintings done in oil and also in gauche. “Kevin Peters: Redefining Past and Present,” through Feb. 15, features art by Nez Perce artist Kevin Peters. His most coveted pieces are traditional works such as quilts, headdresses, and buckskin and rawhide items. His works honor past artists while reflecting contemporary Nez Perce culture.
